Ruiz Constructions in conjunction with a local architecture firm undertook to design and develop a large 4 bedroom family home on a recently purchased block in Banks.
The block presented a challenge from the start as it was oddly shaped with a large fall down to the rear, but its 180 degree uninterrupted views of the open fields and the Brindabella Mountains demanded special attention to preserve the consequent high value of the home.
The aspect of the solar passive house was located to take maximum advantage of the views to the rear of the block. This included locating the family living areas with a large deck to the rear, while highlight windows strategically placed in stairwells and other locations of the house optimised the million dollar views.
Needless to say, the clients were thrilled.
